On-Site Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs on industrial vacuum pumps (liquid ring, dry, rotary vane) and related mechanical equipment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on-site, identify root causes of equipment failure, and implement effective technical solutions.
Overhauling & Assembly: Dismantle, clean, inspect, and rebuild/overhaul pumps and machinery components using precision tools and alignment instruments.
Installation & Commissioning: Handle the complete set-up, leveling, piping connection, and initial testing of new machinery at customer plants.
Service Reporting: Fill out precise daily service reports, clear breakdown checklists, and log customer feedback after every visit.
Client Coordination: Explain technical problems clearly to factory supervisors or plant managers and guide them on correct equipment handling and safety protocols.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education: ITI (Fitter/Mechanic/Electrician) or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 0 to 6 years of hands-on experience servicing vacuum pumps, air compressors, blowers, or heavy capital machinery in industrial plants.
Technical Skills: Proficient with mechanical tools, torque wrenches, multi-meters, motor alignment, and reading technical drawings or cross-sectional diagrams.
Language: Practical knowledge of Hindi. Ability to speak Marathi is highly preferred for communicating with local plant staff.
Travel Profile: Must be able to travel comfortably and commute extensively to client locations around Bhiwandi, Thane, and nearby manufacturing hubs for field updates.
